BetterSelf Coaching Policies.
1. Confidentiality
- Everything you share in coaching is strictly confidential.
- I will never share your information without your consent, except when legally required (e.g., serious risk of harm or if you are a minor).
- Sessions are not recorded.
- You are free to share your own coaching experience; I will never do so.
2. Your Data & Privacy
- I collect only what’s necessary: name, email, timezone, and what you choose to share.
- Session notes private and secure.
- Booking and payment are handled securely via Stripe.
- Data is stored securely and deleted after two years or upon request.
- You can request your data be deleted at any time.
- I will never sell or share your data with third parties.

Cancellations less than 24 hours before are non-refundable, except in genuine emergencies.
Life happens—I’m flexible and will do my best to accommodate urgent changes.
4. No-Shows
Missed sessions without notice count as used, to protect time fairly for all clients.
5. Payment & Refunds
- Payment:
Payment is required upon acceptance into the program and before your first session. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. - Refunds & Pausing:
If you choose to pause or withdraw partway through your journey, you may reschedule remaining sessions or request a refund for unused sessions.
Completed sessions will be charged at my standard hourly rate (£150 session), and the remaining balance will be returned to you.
No-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) are considered used sessions. - Commitment:
This program is a serious commitment to your transformation. While all sales are intended to be final, I understand life happens and will always handle requests with fairness, flexibility, and respect.
6. Nature of Coaching
- Life coaching is not therapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.
- I offer a supportive space for growth, insight, and action — not medical advice or diagnosis.
- If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis, I’ll help you connect with appropriate resources.
- Coaching works best alongside, not instead of, professional therapy when needed.
7. Emergency Situations
- If you’re in immediate danger, please contact emergency services (999/911).
- Coaching sessions are not suitable for crisis intervention.
- If you’re struggling with thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to Samaritans (116 123) or your local crisis support service.
8. Inclusivity & Respect
- BetterSelf Coaching is a welcoming space for all genders, identities, and backgrounds.
- Discrimination or abusive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in our coaching space.
9. Legal & Jurisdiction
- Policies are governed by UK law.
- Disputes will be handled through UK courts.
- This policy may be updated from time to time — you’ll be notified of any significant changes.
